Dr. Eisenlohr attended Bowdoin College in Maine for undergraduate studies and received a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in psychology. While playing volleyball for Bowdoin, Dr. Eisenlohr was selected team captain and earned "Defensive Player of the Year" multiple years.
Following her undergraduate studies, Dr. Eisenlohr worked at Germaine Lawrence, an intensive residential treatment center for adolescent females (ages 10 - 21) with emotional disturbance and behavioral problems located in Massachusetts. Dr. Eisenlohr was quickly promoted from floor staff to the Residential Director at the Merck Treatment Center on the Germaine Lawrence campus. Dr. Eisenlohr was responsible for the integration of clinical treatment into the residential milieu of an 18-bed unit, as well as staff management and on-call responsibilities.
Dr. Eisenlohr attended graduate school at the California School of Professional Psychology (CSPP), Alliant International University in California where she completed a Masters of Arts (MA) and a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
Dr. Eisenlohr focused her training on pediatric neuropsychology and evidence-based therapeutic interventions (e.g., cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, exposure response prevention, structural family/family systems intervention, trauma-informed treatment).
Training sites included Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) where she received pediatric neuropsychology specific training in outpatient complex medical, pre- and post- surgical, brief inpatient/rehabilitation, and concussion clinics. Dr. Eisenlohr remained an additional year as an advanced extern upon request of the supervisor.
At the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA), Dr. Eisenlohr received training within the Semel Institute of Neuroscience and Human Behaviors performing assessment and therapy in clinic specializing in obsessive compulsive disorder, tic disorders, and other anxiety disorders.
Dr. Eisenlohr continued to focus her training on neuropsychology and health psychology through an American Psychological Association (APA) accredited pre-doctoral internship program at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital-Indianapolis, Indiana. Dr. Eisenlohr completed neuropsychology specific rotations in pediatric neuropsychology, concussion, and the acute medical rehabilitation inpatient unit. Dr. Eisenlohr also completed therapy and intervention specific rotations in the primary care clinic and adult general medical unit.
After earning her Doctor of Psychology, Dr. Eisenlohr decided to further her education and completed two fellowship programs in Pediatric Neuropsychology and Sports Neuropsychology at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in New Hampshire.
Dr. Eisenlohr completed an Association of Postdoctoral Programs in Clinical Neuropsychology (APPCN) Pediatric Neuropsychology fellowship program which was endorsed by the American Board of Clinical Neuropsychology (ABCN) and followed the Houston Conference Guidelines for specialty training in Clinical Neuropsychology. Dr. Eisenlohr provided services in multiple clinics including Pediatric Neuropsychology Clinic, Neuropsychological and Developmental Psychiatry Clinic, and Dartmouth Child Interdisciplinary Developmental Disabilities Clinic.
Dr. Eisenlohr completed a Sports Neuropsychology fellowship program consistent with the Sports Neuropsychology Society Training Guidelines. She provided consultation and concussion management services through the “Chalk Talk" Clinic which included acting as the primary concussion provider for all Dartmouth sports. Dr. Eisenlohr also started two clinics during fellowship that continue to run at Dartmouth. The Sports Neuropsychology Clinic provided concussion treatment to individuals of all ages and elite athletes, and the Concussion, Consultation and Care Clinic was an integrated clinic within the Dartmouth pediatric department.
Following her dual fellowship, Dr. Eisenlohr worked at Children’s Hospital Orange County (CHOC) as a pediatric neuropsychologist in the neuropsychology and concussion clinics. Dr. Eisenlohr has since relocated to the Los Angeles area with her family.
